My great grand kids will be 5 years old in june, what kind of party do you think they should have?

i thought a little carnival would be good, but my grand son and his wife, their parents, said it will spoil them. all i wanted for them was some carnival food, a pony, a couple rides, and maybe some inflatables and a clown. everyone loves carnivals so i thought it would be best because its not more for boys or more for girls
