Is Shadow The Hedgehog Dead Or Not?? (Experts Only!)?

I've Played Almost Every Sonic The Hedgehog Game There Is And Still Can't Figure Out If Shadow Is Dead Or Not. I Know The Real Shadow SUPPOSEDLY Died In Sonic Adventure 2. What I Don't Know Is If All The Shadows After That Are The Same One That Was In Shadow The Hedgehog The Game Or If They All Are Just Different Androids . . . Who Knows . . . It Could Be The Real One . . . Someone Fill Me In.
