Is it possible to have a koi pond in a swimming pool?

I have this old inflatable swimming pool and I was thinking is it possible to set up a koi pond in it. It is 4 feet deep in a 15 foot circle. It also has a filter I could use for it. Can I put koi in it or do i really have to dig a pond?
