How to make a simple fishpond.?

Hi I live in the Philippines which is kinda close to the equator so it is kinda hot in here. I am planning to create my own fishpond just a really simple one the one that is cheapest. I am new to rearing fishes i am currently rearing a Silver Arowana which i bought for 800 pesos in 4 inches now its is 10 inches. Can i convert my inflatable pool into a simple fishpond?
