Sonic the hedgehog game?

the game that you can dig in walls and fly around as a girl..one of the levels your in space..in a Egypt room and you have to find 3 gems..its a hot and cold game level..the gem on top lights up if your close to the gem..and when you dig in walls you get coins..bombs..etc what is the name of the sonic game and what system??? please help me
