How can i make sure my hedgehog stays happy?

I've had a hedgehog for a while, and i've done a lot of research on what they like, what their living conditions should be like, etc. I do think animals like hedgehogs should be left in the wild, but i got one because i knew it would have a good home with me and my family. He has toys, he likes people, he has a toilet paper tube, a kleenex box, and all of the toys that are suggested. I just want to know how i can make sure he is happy and how i know if he is. Like places i can take him, food i can give him, different toys for him, handling suggestions, anything. So far it's been well, but i just want to make sure my hedgehog has the best home he can have. help would be greatly appreciated. thanks:)
