Do Hedgehogs Get Along With Ferrets Please Answer?

I have a 1yr. old ferret named Cookie but she is alone a lot. I go to school and my mom works at home but often. I need to know asap if Cookie would get along with a hedgehog. I know Cookie might try to eat her but she usually doesn't bite. My dog Penny recently had puppies( for sale in 2 weeks kijiji.com/minidashundpuppies ). And we left Cookie alone with them and she loves them. She is a somewhat motherly ferret. She has a squeaky deer toy and if you squeak it she will come but not to play with it or bite but to protect it if she catches you squeaking it she will nip you. But i thought she might like a hedgehog and if she doesn't we will separate them and get rid of the hedgehog but she might be more happy. I would love to hear your comments.
